Verdion Completes First Two Units at iPORT
An agents event was held today (19th May 2016) to mark the completion of the first two speculatively built units at iPort.
Held in Unit IP2A, the great and the good of the industrial agency world gathered to view the new 214,850 sq ft (19,960 sq m) warehouse, admiring the 15m clear headroom, the 22 standard and two extra height dock level doors.
Hosted by iPort developer Verdion and the scheme’s letting agents Gent Visick, Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE, guests enjoyed an afternoon of beers and bowl food, leaving with a case of specially brewed iPort Ale (pictured).
John Clements, Verdion’s European Development Director, welcomed the crowd commenting: “We are in a great position today having completed the build of the first two units, developed speculatively, totalling approximately 320,000 sq ft. IP2b has been successfully let to international firm Fellowes and IP2a is available to let now. Interest in the rest of the scheme is strong and we expect to announce further lettings throughout this year.”
Unit IP2a comprises a steel portal-framed warehouse unit with ancillary two-storey offices with car parking and a secure 55 metre deep goods yard. The elevations are of insulated profile metal sheeting with pitched insulated profile metal sheet roofs incorporating translucent roof lights. The unit is capable of 100% expansion.
